1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the 702 Lab platform, website, APIs, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification.

2. Description of Service

702 Lab provides an AI-powered video generation platform that allows users to create videos from text prompts, images, and other inputs. The Service includes, but is not limited to, the web application, mobile applications, APIs, and any associated documentation.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. User Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service ("User Content"), including text prompts and uploaded images. By submitting User Content, you grant 702 Lab a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

Videos generated through the Service on paid plans are owned by you and may be used for commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. Videos generated on free plans are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Create deepfakes or misleading content intended to deceive or defraud others
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models or algorithms
• Use automated tools to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage or circumvents rate limits
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without prior written consent

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and we will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase.

7. API Usage

Access to the 702 Lab API is subject to additional terms and rate limits as described in our API documentation. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the API complies with these Terms and any applicable usage limits. Excessive or abusive API usage may result in throttling or suspension of access.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, branding, and documentation, is owned by 702 Lab and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to 702 Lab's intellectual property except as expressly stated herein.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 702 Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.
